Latest revision as of 04:48, 24 February 2021
Many small beasts are found throughout the Tower of Barbs that the player can catch, eat, or sell. Beasts can be picked up by approaching them while crouched (Note: not every beast will come willingly!). Once in hand, they may be eaten or stored in the Death Bag for later use. Thrown beasts can be used to distract some enemies.
In addition to this, beasts can be attacked or crushed; each beast will produce a unique mushroom when crushed. See the Shrooms page for details on these mushrooms.
Beasts do not need to be thrown directly into a fire to be cooked. They can also be cooked when in throwing action and the hand with the beast in it is very close to a fire source. This ensures the player will not take any fire damage if they try to retrieve a beast in fire.
