Many small beasts are found throughout the Tower of Barbs that the player can catch, eat, or sell. Beasts can be picked up by approaching them while crouched (Note: not every beast will come willingly!). Once in hand, they may be eaten or stored in the Death Bag for later use. Thrown beasts can be used to distract some enemies.
In addition to this, beasts can be attacked or crushed; each beast will produce a unique mushroom when crushed. See the Shrooms page for details on these mushrooms.
