Knives are a weapons in Let it Die. First thing you might notice with Knives is their extremely short range - shorter than even basic punches. To make up for it though, they have very high damage and combo potential, thanks to to their extreme speed and an L1/R1 Move that allows you to make a quick stab and hop away.

Variants include the very rare Nosferatu.

Notes

• When you've reached mastery level 10 you will stab downed enemies when you press X near them. Unfortunately you will also stab all Beasts as well. As this will kill most of them instantly, you will need to switch from a knife to any other weapon before you try to stun Beasts for capture. This is especially important for Golden Beasts, since you often want to capture them rather than kill them. This move can be used to kill stunned (but not rolled up) Pill Bugs to obtain Lifeshrooms.

		Slash then Stab Knife weapons? Great if you can get up close and personal for some cutting action. Up your Mastery Level and you can learn a neat little weaving move, as well as a follow-up stab to use on downed foes. They won't know what hit 'em.
